Tobermory Muscat 2003 Finish

At Tobermory Distillery, we are expressive by nature. Our island home and its passion for creativity is at the heart of everything we do, and our Warehouse 1 Collection is no exception.

Inspired by our much-loved maturation warehouse, the Warehouse 1 Collection is a celebration of the dedicated team at Tobermory Distillery who hand selected each cask and hand filled each bottle in the collection.

Distilled on the 30th of April 2003 and bottled in October 2023 at a cask strength of 52.8% ABV. This 20 year old single malt was filled into an ex-American oak barrel where it matured for 13 years. It was then finished in a Muscat Wine cask for 7 years bringing floral notes of lavender and pear drops to the classic vibrant fruit and spice character of Tobermory.

Colour:

Dark red copper

Nose:

Floral notes of lavender and pear drops with hints of burnt orange and gingerbread.

Palate:

Honey sweetness, stewed plums, candied orange peel and citrus, with a spicy nutmeg finish.

Finish:

A sweet finish of mulled wine, peach and pear drops fading to citrus.
